The New Jersey Devils’ (34-25-6) last tilt was an encouraging one. However, the Columbus Blue Jackets (31-24-8) are no Philadelphia Flyers. There will be a lot on the line when the Jackets enter the Prudential Center tonight, most importantly, two points in the Metropolitan Division.

Cody Glass and Daniel Sprong made some first impression on the Devils and their fans. Both were impact players in the Devils’ 3-1 win over the Flyers, and New Jersey is hoping there is more where that came from.

No one expected Columbus to be in this position, and in a different way, many expected the Devils to be better positioned.

This Tuesday night division rivalry matchup should be an entertaining one.
