NJHN Daily: Goaltending Prevails; Devils Stars; GM Meetings Day One

For 40 minutes last night, the New Jersey Devils played detail oriented hockey. It was enough to give them a 2-0 lead going into the third period, and in the final frame, Jake Allen played hero. It as quite the impressive performance from the 34-year-old goaltender. It’s time to start talking about offering him a contract extension.
Elsewhere, are the Isles a threat to the Devils? A pair of ex-Devils putting Colorado over the hump? And, day one of NHL GM Meetings.

New Jersey Hockey Now: The Devils needed another crucial two points that were on the table in Columbus last night. Fortunately, New Jersey got the best out of Jake Allen, who maintained their lead and claimed the points in regulation for himself.
