When the Calgary Flames (31-25-11) enter the Prudential Center on Thursday, it will be the first time Kevin Bahl faces the New Jersey Devils (37-26-6) as the opposition.
Bahl was part of the package that brought the Devils their No.1 goaltender, Jacob Markstrom, who will be in net against his former team in his new barn.
In their last 10 games, the Flames are 3-4-3. With the Eastern Conference playoff rice still very much open, New Jersey needs to bank as many points as possible, especially against struggling teams on home ice.
