NJHN Daily: Devils Anticipate Battles; Jackets Seeking Goalie Upgrade

The New Jersey Devils return to the ice today after an off-day yesterday. They know they’re returning this morning to a hard day’s work after head coach Sheldon Keefe wasn’t please at all with their effort on Tuesday night.
Brett Pesce explained Sheldon Keefe already informed the #NJDevils in the locker room postgame the next practice will be”be a hard day of battles.”

Keefe explained today won’t be a punishment on the ice. It’s more about sharpening their mindset in terms of their compete level, which the Devils’ head coach didn’t see against the last place Boston Bruins.
