NJHN Daily: Devils to Lose AGM? Injury Updates; Black Aces

The New Jersey Devils are in the midst of a playoff series, so they certainly don’t want to turn their focus to the off-ice distraction that is Kate Madigan and the New York Islanders. Elsewhere, injury updates, Devils Black Aces, other Islander GM candidates, and more.

The Devils were off on Wednesday, thus, returning to the ice yesterday for practice before Game 3 on Friday night. They remained without Luke Hughes and Brenden Dillon who continue to nurse injuries. Head coach Sheldon Keefe didn’t have an update, but explained if they’re not practicing, it’s because no one is comfortable at the moment. It’s fair to assume they’re not available to Game 3, but Keefe did say they’ll reassess today.
Jonas Siegenthaler did return to practice in a regular contact jersey and was not ruled out for Game 3 after skating alongside Simon Nemec. Quite the development, there.
