For fans of the New Jersey Devils, Thursday brought good news, and it brought bad news. Break up day revealed a lot among the Devils who were banged up throughout the end of the season and in the playoffs. More on that later today.
One bit of good news to come out of yesterday’s interviews? Jacob Markstrom wants to stay in New Jersey.
Bad news? The Devils’ rival is closing in on a new head coach, and New Jersey fans aren’t going to like it.

Montreal Hockey Now: The Washington Capitals are moving on after beating the Montreal Canadiens in the first round. Spencer Carbery gushed over the youth, pointing to the Habs’ bright future.
