Without having to even have the difficult conversation, changes for the New Jersey Devils have already begun. We knew the bottom-six was already going to look different. Elsewhere, reports suggest Mitch Marner is already expressing interest in free agency, and it should be no surprise the top teams are on his list. On Broadway, could J.T. Miller be the next captain? Plus, another in-division trade scenario.

NYI Hockey Now: Kyle Palmieri seemingly had a new contract locked up with the New York Islanders before Lou Lamoriello was let go. Now, Mathieu Darche is in charge. Will he hold onto the ex-Devil? Or should he let him go?

Philly Hockey Now: Speaking of the Islanders, could a potentially re-tooled roster mean the Philadelphia Flyers could pry Mathew Barzal from the division rival?

NY Post: The New York Rangers have begun their changes, hiring Mike Sullivan as their next head coach. They need a new captain, next. Should part of the culture shift be to slap the ‘C‘ on J.T. Miller’s chest?

Vegas Hockey Now: According to a report, Mitch Marner is interested in the Vegas Golden Knights, among a few other top teams as he heads to free agency.
