NJHN Daily: Devils Trade Target Available; DeBoer Squanders Stars Cup Opportunity

Fans of the New Jersey Devils know Pete DeBoer all too well. He stood behind the Devils’ bench from 2011 t0 2014 before he was relieved in December 2014. However, there’s a reason he’s stuck around in numerous head coaching roles since then. In fact, he coached the Stars to the Western Conference Final in each of the last four seasons.
Yet, last night, he burned Dallas’ Stanley Cup chances. More below from Mark Lazerus on how that happened.
In Devils news, a missed free agent has become available via trade.
Elsewhere, Colorado center targets, Mathieu Darche speaks on Long Island, and new hires.
Let’s do that hockey.
