Devils Bring Finnish Forward Back to NHL on One-Year Contract | Report
Juho Lammikko has signed a one-year, one-way contract with the Devils.

According to a report, the New Jersey Devils are bringing Finnish forward Juho Lammikko back to the NHL on a one-year contract.

The contract has not yet been made official by the Devils.
According to PuckPedia, the contract is a one-way deal worth $800K.

Lammikko was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the third round (65th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut during the 2018-19 season, and played 40 games, recording six assists.
Lammikko was traded to the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 10th, 2021. Across three seasons in the NHL with the Panthers and Canucks, he scored 11 goals and 15 assists.
Between now and his last NHL stint, Lammikko played in various leagues, including the AHL, Liiga, KHL, and Switzerland’s National League.
Over the last three seasons, Lammikko played for the ZSC Lions in Switzerland’s National League. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 203-lb forward scored 13 goals and 38 points in 48 games. Lammikko and ZSC captured the CHL championship for the first time in their franchises’ history. The now Devils forward helped ZSC to claiming the NL championship, moving onto the Champions Hockey League and winning the championship for the first time in franchise history.
Lammikko later played for Finland at the World Championships alongside Devils prospect, Lenni Hameenaho. In eight games, he registered three assists.
In his two previous World Championship appearances, Lammikko helped Finland claim gold in 2019 and 2022.
The newest Devils forward is known for his two-way presence, penalty killing ability, and physicality.
Lammikko has played both center and wing in his professional career, however, has mostly been utilized as a winger at the NHL level.
The left-shot forward will compete for an NHL roster spot during training camp this fall.
