NJHN Daily: Devils Fans Want Marchand; UFA Target in Cup Final; Rat King Mania

Happy Father’s Day, New Jersey Devils and hockey fans alike!
Last night, Brad Marchand put the Cats one win away from going back-to-back as Stanley Cup Champions. It got us thinking, should the Devils go after the Rat King in free agency? You all voted, the results are below.
The question came up because of Marchand’s performance on Saturday night, and overall in the Stanley Cup Final. He sure does look good.
Elsewhere, the Blueshirts are set to be aggressive, a Boston Bruins trade, and a Devils UFA target playing in the Stanley Cup Final.
Let’s do that hockey.
Devils Trade Rumors & News
New Jersey Hockey Now: The Devils are helping Juho Lammikko revive his NHL career, inking the 6-foot-3, 203-lb Finnish forward to a one-year, one-way contract.
The Athletic ($): Marchand might not exactly be realistic. Never say never, but it’ll be tough. However, there is one player in the Stanley Cup Final the Devils should target who will certainly help address their depth issues.
By the way, after Brad Marchand had another huge night, we surveyed the Devils faithful on their feelings about trying to sign the pending free agent. It’s safe to say they want to see him in New Jersey.
Whether that’s possible or not is a whole ‘nother conversation. Regardless, they want him.
Should the #NJDevils sign Brad Marchand in free agency?
