NJHN Daily: Devils Draft Guide; Islanders Trade Heating Up; Byram Returning Home?

It’s draft day, and the rumors are swirling. So much so, that even whispers of New Jersey Devils defenseman, Dougie Hamilton have surfaced. His no-trade clause becomes a 10-team no-trade on July 1st. I had one source tell me they’d be surprised if he’s dealt, but you never know, right? Lots of teams would love to get their hands on an offensive, right-shot defenseman.

Elsewhere, a Noah Dobson, New York Islanders trade is brewing. Sounds like it’s down to two suitors. The could be tough news for Devils fans, as the Islanders are looking for another high draft pick which could certainly ramp up their re-tool, youth movement.
Let’s do that hockey.
Devils Trade Rumors & News
The Athletic ($): The Devils don’t have a pick in the first round. However, they do have seven picks to make this weekend (barring trades). Here’s a guide on their picks, best fits, and more.
