NJHN Daily: NHL Trade Season’s Not Over; Devils Roster Push; Remaining UFAs

By the sound of it, the NHL trade season isn’t over. I somewhat expect the New Jersey Devils are a part of that. I have my reasons for thinking that, too. But, I’ll dive deeper into that soon enough.
One of the takeaway’s that stood out to me was Tom Fitzgerald pointing out a few prospects he anticipates pushing for an NHL roster spot in September. More on that in the links.
Elsewhere, it’s still shopping season on the NHL trade market, Colorado and remaining UFAs, and the Cats are going to do it again, aren’t they?

NHL.com: The weak, thin crop of free agents left plenty of teams empty-handed after the frenzy died down on July 1st. As a result, the Washington Capitals are exploring the NHL trade market. It seems that although we’re officially in summer mode, we could see plenty more action ahead.
