New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils, now 7-1-0, extended their win-streak over the San Jose Sharks on Friday, and play their final home game at Prudential Center against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday before a four-game road trip out west. They’re looking to extend their strong start against a Western Conference powerhouse.

Sheldon Keefe’s group has shown offensive depth with Jesper Bratt (4G, 7A) and Jack Hughes (6G, 4A) leading the way, while goaltending remains solid with Jake Allen stepping up. The Avalanche, paced by Nathan MacKinnon (6G, 7A) and Martin Necas (6G, 6A), are looking to get back in the win column, suffering their first regulation loss yesterday.
