Devils Daily: New Jersey’s Offseason Begins, Bringing Back the Big Guy?

New Jersey Devils

It’s officially the New Jersey Devils’ offseason.

If you’re in mourning today, it’s completely justified. To go from the best regular season team in franchise history last season to whatever they were this season is certainly a reason to feel pessimistic about the club right now.

However, this team has good… no, great bones.

So grieve now, then look forward to how General Manager Tom Fitzgerald fixes this in the summer.

In the links, one of Fitzgerald’s first moves sounds like it’ll be to bring back their Matt Rempe solution.

Elsewhere, is there a goalie controversy in Pittsburgh? Lane Hutson makes an immediate impact. And, Nashville’s defenseman sets an NHL record.

Let’s do that hockey.
