Devils Daily: NHL & Devils Trade Chatter

Published

on

New Jersey Devils

We’re barely into December and there’s already been plenty of Devils trade speculation this season. Their blue line could use an upgrade, as could the goaltending. However, did that list just get a little shorter over the last couple of days?

Elsewhere, can Boston replace some lost muscle? How about Calgary? Is there a reunion afoot in Florida?

Let’s do that hockey.

New Jersey Devils

New Jersey Hockey Now: The Devils certainly could use an upgrade in net. It might be slim pickings on the market, especially with a recent Devils goaltending target becoming injured.

More NJHN: Goaltending was a little better last night in the Devils’ 6-5 victory over the Canucks. Here are the takeaways.

NJ.com: Speaking of making an upgrade, here are six trade targets for New Jersey ranging from defensemen to goaltenders.

The Athletic: Shayna Goldman certainly knows one way the Devils could attempt to fix their defensive woes. Acquire Flyers defenseman Sean Walker.

National Hockey Now

Boston Bruins

Boston Hockey Now: The Bruins are now without forward Milan Lucic for legal reasons. Does Pat Maroon make sense as a potential replacement?

Florida Panthers

Florida Hockey Now: The Panthers are potentially one top-nine-scoring winger away from being a complete team. Is a reunion with Anthony Duclair in order?

Calgary Flames

Calgary Hockey Now: The Flames could use a heavyweight. Should Calgary attempt to trade for Toronto Maple Leafs forward Ryan Reaves?

Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas Hockey Now: The last centralized NHL draft is going to send the event out with a bang. We’re going to Vegas with the 2024 NHL Draft set to take place in the Sphere.

Nashville Predators
