New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils came up with a big win against the Colorado Avalanche last night. It was a good start in the home stretch of the season. The Devils have a scheduled day off today ahead of their tilt with the Calgary Flames tomorrow. Jack Hughes’ status is still to be determined.

Although they’re off today, the NHL will be hosting a Stadium Series promotional media availability at MetLife Stadium with Devils’ Nico Hischier, Jesper Bratt, and Timo Meier.

In the links, what’s next for the Devils’ players summoned to London, Ontario? A defense attorney weighs in.

Elsewhere, expect a hefty suspension as a result of an illegal check to the head last night in Pittsburgh. The Panthers disagree with the narrative around Nick Cousins. And, Chicago is once again heading back to the Winter Classic.

Let’s do that hockey.
