The New Jersey Devils are back on the ice today after a rare two-day hiatus from the ice.

The Devils remain battered and bruised, however, after a mental and physical reset, we’ll see if anyone comes off the shelf and gets back into the action.

If anyone does, in fact, come off the shelf, it won’t be a defenseman. We know Dougie Hamilton’s timeline is closer to the playoffs. As for the latest blue-line injury, a doctor weighed in on the minimum timeline. More on that in the links below.

Elsewhere, a BLOCKBUSTER between Philadelphia and Anaheim saw two high-profile rising stars swap clubs. In the fallout, a nugget of information involving Montreal was revealed. Plus, a Chicago forward is PISSED and he’s keeping receipts.

More PHN: Everyone was surprised to see the Flyers trade Gauthier for Drysdale and a pick. Everyone except for Daniel Breier. The Flyers GM exposes Gauthier’s Behavior as the reason for the Drysdale acquisition.

Montreal Hockey Now: The Flyers reportedly offered the Montreal Canadiens a trade that involved Gauthier in exchange for the fifth overall pick at the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
