New Jersey Devils

The good news is the New Jersey Devils that recently suffered injuries could have been worse. The bad news is some others that weren’t believed to be long-term just might be.

The Devils hit the ice one more time this morning for practice ahead of their tilt tomorrow night in Tampa Bay. Without Jack Hughes and Jonas Siegenthaler, a couple of recalls could be making their season debut against the Lightning.

Elsewhere, Vegas is currently in an awkward position. Depending how their season plays out over the next few weeks will determine their buyer or seller status. Plus, Jaime Drysdale’s first day on the job in Philly, Boston trolls fans on social media, and Matthew Tkachuk has a night to remember.

Let’s do that hockey.
