Devils Daily: Blockbuster Canucks Trade, Devils Next?

The Vancouver Canucks apparently love to make deals during the All-Star break. Last year, they sent their captain, Bo Horvat, to the New York Islanders. This year, they acquired Elias Lindholm from the Calgary Flames in exchange for a large, yet reasonable package for the pending unrestricted free-agent center. Calgary’s now seemingly made its first move in stripping down its parts. Perhaps, the New Jersey Devils can swoop in and address some of their own needs.

Jacob Markstrom, anybody?

Speaking of the Devils, one of their prospects is taking the KHL by storm lately, perhaps that’s a trade chip admirable to the Flames.

Elsewhere, could Boston join in on the fun and acquire one of Calgary’s defensemen? A Buffalo winger finds himself on the trade board. And, is Nathan Mackinnon the best in the world?
