From the looks of it, the New Jersey Devils are out of the Jacob Markstrom picture. However, the belief is that GM Tom Fitzgerald is going to remain on the hunt for a goaltending upgrade.

Barry Trotz disclosed he and Fitzgerald are in constant contact about his Nashville goaltenders. Will the Devils pivot on the goalie market?
