New Jersey Devils

For the standings watchers, the New Jersey Devils didn’t get much help last night. Both the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Islanders won last night. The Devils are now seven points back from Philly and the Isles jumped New Jersey in the standings. Speaking of the Isles, perhaps Patrick Roy has figured that team out. They’ve won three games in a row now, all against impressive teams.

The Devils have some games in hand on teams ahead of them in the standings, but time is running out. They’ll face the Los Angeles Kings today at 3:30 P.M. local time. Head coach Lindy Ruff will speak at 1:30 P.M. (10:30 Pacific).

In the links, plenty of news on the saga that is between the Devils, Calgary Flames, and Jacob Markstrom.

Elsewhere, Elias Pettersson inks mega-deal in Vancouver, Florida is after Noah Hanifin, and Tyson Foerster helps make history in Philly.

Let’s do that hockey.
