Devils Daily: New Jersey in Limbo; Guentzel Trade Imminent
Tuesday was a long day for the New Jersey Devils. First, the General Manager addressed the media over the firing of former head coach Lindy Ruff. He then answered whether or not the Devils’ faults are all coaching-related or perhaps construction-related as well.
He certainly did not put the blame all on Ruff. More on that in the links.
Then interim head coach Travis Green addressed the media. He certainly brings a different vibe than Ruff.
Elsewhere, a Jake Guentzel trade appears imminent, Jeremy Swayman’s extension isn’t as close as initially believed, and Philly’s plans for their two pending free-agent defensemen.
Let’s do that hockey.
