Devils Daily: Expedite Goalie Shipping; Tortorella Blows Gasket

New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils will hit the ice at 12 PM today, although perhaps it feels like 11 AM after we lost an hour of sleep last night.

I need my coffee.

I believe Kaapo Kahkonen has touched down in New Jersey as of yesterday. His locker, next to Nico Daws’ locker, was fully stocked with his equipment following yesterday’s matinee at the Prudential Center. The Devils certainly need the boost in net, it was evident on Saturday.

In the links, what’s the plan for the Devils’ goaltending post-trade deadline? Plus, yesterday’s takeaways from a winnable game the Devils forked over.

Elsewhere, John Tortorella blows a gasket, did Boston’s goaltender nix a deal to Colorado? And Arizona hilariously welcomes back Patrick Kane.

Let’s do that hockey.

Devils News
