Devils Daily: Goaltending Reinforcements Arrive; John Tortorella Faces Discipline
The New Jersey Devils’ reinforcements have arrived. Goaltenders Jake Allen and Kaapo Kahkonen are in New Jersey.
The Devils invade Madison Square Garden tonight to face the New York Rangers. We’ll see if one of the new guys starts in goal. Akira Schmid is back in the American Hockey League with the Utica Comets, however, Nico Daws remains with the varsity squad. So, with three goaltenders on the roster, one of them will be watching from above.
Elsewhere, John Tortorella faces discipline for his actions on Saturday night, Pittsburgh is crumbling from within, and a handful of teams are pursuing a Swedish sniper.
Let’s do that hockey.
