The New Jersey Devils are back in action tonight, hosting the Winnipeg Jets amid their five-game Eastern Conference road trip.

It’s the return of Tyler Toffoli after New Jersey traded their leading scorer to the Jets at the March 8th trade deadline. Tonight’s tilt against the Devils will mark Toffoli’s 800th career game.

After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, the Devils somewhat put themselves back in the playoff conversation. They face a tall task in the juggernaut Winnipeg team in order to claim another two points tonight.

In the links, Matt Rempe speaks for the first time following his four-game suspension for an illegal check to the head of Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler. Plus, interim head coach Travis Green explains his reasoning for elevating young forward Alexander Holtz.

Elsewhere, a former player under John Tortorella publically calls out his antics, Akim Aliu is playing hockey in North America again, and should Mike Sullivan be on the hot seat?

Let’s do that hockey.
