NJHN Daily: Expensive Ex-Devils D-Man Waived; Rangers Towing Fine Line

Regular season hockey is up next. The New Jersey Devils played their final game of the preseason game of 2025 on Saturday, and now is when things begin to matter.
Yesterday, we saw the roster trim a bit more. There are still decisions to be made, but we may not know right away until a few things get sorted, such as the injury status’ for Brett Pesce and Seamus Casey.
Time will tell.
In the links, the Devils are seeing a dynamic duo form before their eyes. They connected on another goal yesterday, and are hoping to carry that momentum into the regular season.
Elsewhere, Tampa & Florida are more alike than they realize, Blueshirts towing a fine line, and Pittsburgh waives an expensive Ex-Devil.
Let’s do that hockey.
