Devils 2024-25 Preseason Schedule Revealed

The 2023-24 season has yet to wrap itself up as the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers continue to battle for the Stanley Cup in the final round of the postseason. Yet, the 2024-25 preseason schedule for the New Jersey Devils — among other teams — has been revealed.

The Devils are closing the door on their disappointing 2023-24 season in which they did not qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Now, they’re looking ahead to 2024-25 with the hopes of rebounding with some forthcoming reinforcements by General Manager Tom Fitzgerald.

Before the Devils kick off their regular season, they’ll put their offseason training, rookies, prospects, newcomers, and even new coaches in Sheldon Keefe and Jeremy Colliton to the test in the preseason.

The Devils’ preseason schedule is as follows:

Sun. Sept. 22 vs. NY Islanders, Prudential Center, 7:00 P.M.

Tues. Sept. 24 at Montreal Canadiens, Bell Centre, 7:00 P.M.

Wed. Sept. 25 vs. Washington Capitals, Prudential Center, 7:00 P.M.

Fri. Sept. 27 at NY Islanders, UBS Arena, 7:00 P.M.

Mon. Sept. 30 vs. NY Rangers, Prudential Center, 7:00 P.M.

Tues. Oct. 1 vs. NY Rangers, Madison Square Garden, 7:00 P.M.

Thurs. Oct. 3 at Philadelphia Flyers, Wells Fargo Center, 7:00 P.M.

The Devils are due to begin the preseason in Czechia as part of the Global Series against the Buffalo Sabres. The series in Czechia will open on Oct. 4th, the day after the Devils’ final preseason game in Philadelphia against the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center. It’s anticipated that the team going to play the Flyers in the final contest of the regular season will be part of a split squad. The final roster is anticipated to be in Czechia to begin the regular season.

The 2024-25 regular season schedule has yet to be released, but we at least know the Devils and Sabres on Oct. 4th and 5th.
