The New Jersey Devils could certainly be in for a roster decision soon. In the links, we highlighted the possibility of a blockbuster with the Vancouver Canucks. After they’ve openly made two of their superstars available, being in the mix for one is plausible. Also in the links, an option for the Devils to address their depth scoring issue on the waiver wire. Plus, a Devils forward appears to be injured, and could miss some time.

Congratulations to Team USA for winning their second consecutive World Junior Championship gold! The gold medal game was certainly an entertaining one, and required a golden goal to seal the deal.
