How to Watch Devils Game vs. Philadelphia Flyers (01/17/2025); Projected Lines, Notes, & More

The New Jersey Devils (26-15-6) will get their first look at rookie sensation, Matvei Michkov, Saturday afternoon when they host the Philadelphia Flyers (20-20-6) at the Prudential Center.

Michkov is tied for second in the rookie point race with San Jose Sharks rookie, Macklin Celebrini. Each rookie forward has a combined 13 goals and 19 assists for 32 points.

The Devils are hoping to get back in the win column after falling in overtime to the Toronto Maple Leafs. They’ve landed in overtime in each of their last four outings, and are seeking a clean two points in regulation.

What to Know vs. Flyers

—The Devils and Philadelphia face-off for the first of four matchups this season. The division rivals play next on Jan. 27 (at PHI) and Jan. 29 for a home-at-home set.

—Nico Hischier (2g-4a) led the Devils with six points against the Flyers last season, while Jack Hughes ranked second on the team with five points (1g-4a).
